Family home in North London have a vacancy for an experienced couple. There are four children from age 8 to 18yrs with no pets.
These long term employers are currently looking for 2 members of staff so a couple will be considered. The duties will be split between two people as will the working day. The day starts at 7am and finishes at 8pm, so you will need to plan your work and organise to take a few hours off in the afternoon.
Duties are general housekeeping, cleaning, turn down, care of wardrobes, laundry and ironing to a high standard. One of the housekeepers should be prepared to cook – fresh Mediterranean style dishes to include fish, chicken, pasta fresh sauces, interesting salads and soups. Ability to follow a recipe and try new dishes a big plus. The family prefer Italian, Mediterranean style dishes.
The day begins with a family breakfast at 7.30am prior to the children being taken to school, the 2 youngest return home at 4pm and the elder 2 at 5pm, the children’s main meal is served when they return home and a supper snack can be left for the family. The parents occasionally are at home for a lunch, fresh soups, steak and salad, fish and vegetables, freshly prepared and healthy.
You may be asked to travel to the to the country house some weekends and take your time off during the week.
Others duties will include, driving ( school run and activities) Shopping for food, ordering on line, local shops and co-ordinating home delivery. Keeping an eye on the children should the parents go out in the evening. Two people who work well together to a high standard.

LONDON SW7 - HOUSEKEEPING COUPLE
Experienced housekeeping couple required for large formal house in Central London. The owners are a mature Asian business couple who travel frequently and you will therefore need to oversee security of the property. You may on occasion be asked to travel with the principals.
Duties will include the day to day cleaning of a 3-storey home, washing and ironing to a high standard, caring for the wardrobes, cleaning shoes, running errands, preparing guest rooms, arranging flowers, and serving at table.
One of the couple should be able to cook and prepare occasional light simple meals when the principals are in residence, but outside catering staff are brought in- when there is a dinner party. Asian style cooking is preferred.
One of the couple must hold a clean driving licence, not a major part of the role but as back up to the chauffeur already employed. You must be willing to assist with the care for the cars and assist with minor garden maintenance i.e. sweeping, tidying, weeding, watering pots and caring for the patio areas.
Immaculate and well-presented with a good level of spoken English is essential.
Previous experience in domestic service essential Days off each week are flexible depending on the principals’ schedules, so the couple must be happy to change days off as required. There may also be occasional travel to the owner’s Country estate and a property Overseas. This is a uniformed position.

HOUSEKEEPER- FAMILY COOK

Newly created position for a new build, modern residence of a young family close to Windlesham.
The property is large, immaculately presented- 22,000sq ft, which includes a gym, swimming pool and cinema complex. The grounds extend to 4 acres.
There is currently a large outdoor project in progress which includes landscaping of the gardens, planting, building of tennis court and hence numerous contractors to supervise and monitor.
The housekeeper will be responsible for the day to day cleaning of the rooms in use, laundry, ironing and occasional food preparation and cooking. If cooking, then it will be purely for the owners and not every day. Family and friends visit at weekends and eventually events and parties will be held, so any service skills will be beneficial.
The owners have a new baby, so a child friendly person is required as eventually there may be occasional babysitting. Mum is very hands on with the care of the child. There are no pets.
Partner will maintain the grounds and gardens, ideally you will have some knowledge of gardening, but you do not need to be a qualified horticulturist. You will need to have good maintenance skills, be IT literate and be able to learn the mechanisms for maintaining the pool area and plant room.
You will take care of the family cars and be open to driving the principal into his London office when required. You will need a good level of English as you will manage and liaise with external suppliers and contractors.
As this is a new and developing position, additional duties may become part of the role, as the house is used to its full potential eventually there may be some informal entertaining and a degree of flexibility will be required.

The housekeeper will take care of the interior of the property, cleaning, dealing with laundry, arranging dry cleaning, shopping and have the ability to prepare fresh, healthy dishes when required. Both principal and daughter are keen on health and fitness, so lots of fresh but simple fish, salads, soups etc.
Partner will be a keen gardener, capable of overseeing the one acre of grounds currently being landscaped. You should be able to maintain the grounds, and if you are knowledgeable to develop the gardens a big plus. You should have good level of spoken and written English, with excellent IT skills and be able to deal with contractors and suppliers.
Ideally both should drive, there will be school runs, airport runs and household shopping trips.
You will be required to care for the cars, washing and checking tyres, water etc and organise servicing and MOT’s. The principal is keen to purchase 2 Labrador puppies, so you must be dog friendly and be keen to be involved with their care and training.

A professional and experienced couple are required for a large residence in Surrey. The couple will be proactive, self sufficient and be capable of running this 8 bedroom property, in four acres of grounds. The residence is the home of a couple who also have multiple homes both in the Uk and Internationally. You will be required to travel with the owners from time to time both in Uk and Overseas.
The residence is run to exacting standards and the position is suitable for a couple with previous high end domestic experience, a minimum of five years’ experience and with proven longevity in previous positions. This vacancy is a long term position with owners who appreciate and respect their staff.
One member of the couple will be responsible for the day to day house management and housekeeping, the other will act as chef. Roles are however interchangeable.
Between them the couple will be managing the day to day running of this beautiful property, acting as estate and household manager, serving at table and dealing with front of house duties, overseeing contractors and security, cooking and serving and undertaking general maintenance around the house and grounds.
Chef will need to have an international repertoire and be happy to cook for a minimum of 2 adults on a daily basis with regular entertaining both formal and informal lunches / dinners and have an innovative palate. An experienced couple is required who can between them take ownership of the day to day running of this property including the house and grounds. The housekeeper will have cleaning support during the principals “in residence” periods and there is grounds and maintenance support available too.
You will need a keen eye for detail, have excellent housekeeping and laundry skills and be able to maintain the wardrobes. The property is modern with high tech support systems, there are 4 acres of grounds with stables and outbuildings which include gym, pool and sports facilities. The gardens are lawns, hedges and flower beds, mainly a garden maintenance role.
There are 4 cars to care for and you must be willing to wash and polish the cars up to 4 times per day when in use, the principals are extremely particular about the cars. You will refuel, organise MOT and service and ensure that oil, water tyres etc are all checked regularly. There will be some airport runs and driving to events occasionally.
Ideally one of the couple will have table service skills and be able to meet and greet guests, serve drinks etc.
During the periods in residence the working days are longer and demanding, but time back can be taken and the role becomes more of a caretaking role when the principals are not in residence. Therefore flexibility, ability to cope under pressure and stamina is essential to this role.

• Provide any transport requirements for the Owner and his guests – this may include collection upon arrival, or delivery upon departure to their next mode of transport
• Ensure all Guests visiting have all of their requirements met, working in conjunction with the rest of the management team namely, House Keeper and Maintenance Manager.
• Manage and maintain an extensive wine cellar, and work in conjunction with Owner, and Head Chef to ensure it is utilised to its full potential. Update a real time cellar management record, and carryout an end of season stock take alongside an expert advisor
• Manage glassware, tableware, laying of tables and bars for all services

Candidates are required to have relevant experience of living and working in a country estate and have a traditional background in housekeeping and cooking. Lovely young family require an experienced and self-sufficient housekeeper to manage the cleaning and laundry for a family of six. The property is a rented home for now, but a new property is being built close by which will be ready in approx 12 months time. You will work closely with the house manager, who does most of the driving and day to day management as both principals work full time.
This is a very busy household with four small children, ages from newborn to 4yrs and a dog. A full time nanny is employed but you must enjoy working in a home with children and be prepared to babysit 2 evenings per week.
It is essential that you have an eye for detail, are organized, and extremely efficient in your work. You will need to have very good laundry and ironing skills as this is a big part of the position. In addition, occasionally you may be asked to assist the gentleman of the household who loves to cook in the kitchen. When the family entertain, they will bring in caterers; it would be beneficial if you’re able to assist with table service.
Although primarily a Monday-Friday position, you may be asked occasionally to work on Saturday and take Sunday and Monday off. Bedroom and bathroom provided, separate accommodation will become available when the house move takes place.
