Beautiful new build “high end” chalet due for completion December 2012. The five bedroom chalet with separate guest suite will be the weekend and holiday home of a young International business couple with 2 small children, the family travel frequently and will eventually require the couple to travel between their main residence which will be built near Zurich over the next 2 years and the chalet.
The couple will be required to run and manage the chalet on a daily basis, liaise with contractors and deal with builders etc. There are no other indoor staff and between them the couple must be able to perform all duties ranging from cleaning, laundry, care of the wardrobes, front of house and table service, flower arranging and cooking to dinner party standard. Running errands, provisioning and shopping are all part of the role. There is also a spa and swimming pool to maintain.
Minor outdoor duties will at times be required, but mainly tidying and sweeping outside terraces.

Responsible for the entire operations and function of the resort including the catering operation with the support of the main palace in Doha.
This is a newly developed- seven villa and country house private resort, 100 Km North of Doha. The properties stand in 8,000 Sq metres of landscaped gardens situated right on the coast with indoor and outdoor pools and bar b que areas.
Duties will include :
Management of household personnel, schedules, rota’s and monitoring of performance.
Training and education of multicultural staff
Development of policies and procedures, working closely with Palace Operations manager, International chef, chief accountant and landscaping manager.
Liaison with protocol and security departments
Function management and co-ordination with heads of Palace departments.
Development of a maintenance programme in liaison with technical and engineering team.
Cost control, budget management and presentation of management accounts and reports.
There are extensive maintenance, gardeners and independent security teams who are not included in the remit of the managers.
The property is primarily a weekend and holiday home of the principals whose primary residence is in Doha.
Previous experience of working in the Middle East is desirable.

Fluent English speaking experienced and pro active couple required for family residence in a rural country side location, close to the city of St Petersburg. The principals work in the city each day and the 3 children, eldest son at home, youngest studying in London and a daughter who lives off the property are delightful employers. The couple are required to be highly organised and have previous experience of working within a team, caring for high net worth households or a 5 star hotel background.
The main house is four bedrooms, with a guest house of 2 bedrooms, and a separate spa area needs to be kept to immaculate standards. The housekeeper will work with another housekeeper and will include all general housekeeping duties. Ideally the housekeeper will have excellent laundry skills and be able to take care of the principals wardrobes, pack and unpack.
The Housemanager/butler will be required to manage all the staff at the residence, which comprises 3 housekeepers, one handyman, and 3 security personnel who work on a rota. You will co-ordinate rotas and liaise with the principals personal assistant and office personnel regards their travel commitments and itineries.
The principals cook mainly for themselves but do require assistance in the kitchen, ideally the butler or the housekeeper will be comfortable to prepare light simple dishes on the odd occasion. The butler will also carry out all the usual front of house duties, which will include formal table service, provisioning and stock control.
A car is provided and some errands, shopping duties will be required, only one of the couple need drive. The couple must be animal friendly as the family have a dog ( Labrador) and a cat.
Although this is the principals main residence the family do travel frequently, it is expected that when the family are in residence the working hours will be longer and when they are away extra time off will be taken.

Experienced, highly professional couple to run and manage a large private residence in a remote and rural part of Kenya. It is essential that the couple has previous experience of working in Africa and be totally comfortable within a “bush environment”. An understanding of the safari experience or high end private lodge will be essential to this role.
Local staff will be employed and hence a complete understanding of African culture is imperative. Recruiting and training of local staff and all aspects of managing a property will be required.
This will include day to day household accounts, project management and liaison with office staff in London. The housekeeper must have an eye for detail and be able to train local staff in the care of fine fabrics and antiques. The skills and duties are to be split between the couple, one member of the couple to be the housekeeper and the other the cook and driver.
There are 3 children, 7, 5 and 1month old. A nanny and maternity nurse are also employed. However it is essential that the couple enjoy working with children and are willing to babysit and help the nanny when needed.
There are 2 dogs and hence the couple must be both child and animal friendly.
Whilst the household is relatively informal, they do entertain 2-3 times per month. The couple between them will be responsible for the day to day housekeeping duties, cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc. A full time cleaner is also employed.
Cooking is an important part of the role, it is essential that you enjoy cooking for both the family every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner and for small dinner parties 2-3 times per month.. One of the couple will be required to manage the household, deal with contractors and organise the day to day running of the house, basic computer skills are essential.

Wonderful job working for a lovely Italian family of five at their four storey home in Notting Hill. The family have 3 children: 15 year old twins and a 8 year old, although one of the twins attends boarding school.
Candidates will be working a 5 ½ day week with usually Saturday afternoons and Sundays off. Typical working hours will start at 7:00am, work through lunch, with a break in the afternoon, and then working again in the evening, usually finishing after dinner.
The Cook and Housekeeper will do the cleaning for the 4 bedroom house. They will also prepare breakfast in the morning for the family, lunch in the afternoon usually just for the wife, and dinner in the evening for the family around 6pm. The cook should be able to prepare high quality family cooking, particularly Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. There will be occasional small dinner parties for friends, and if they have any larger parties, outside help can be brought in.
The Handyman and Driver will do basic handyman duties around the house as well as drive the family to school, run errands, airport runs, etc. Duties are interchangeable, and at least one must be able to serve at table.
At least one of the candidates must also be a driver, both would be a plus. Candidate may be required to be in the house during working hours if the youngest son is on his own, but there will not be any formal childcare. A daily housekeeper who works 3 hours per day in the afternoons is also employed as well as a driver for work related purposes.
The family have a home in Norway and will occasionally need the couple to travel with them. They also have other homes and as such, do travel often.
A separate and very nice 1 bedroom flat a few doors away is provided for the couple that is unfurnished but could be furnished if necessary. Due to accommodation, no pets or dependents.
This position requires an experienced couple with an excellent work ethic and preferably a couple who have previous experience of working with Italian employers. Fluent Italian is essential.

Duties will include day to day housekeeping, laundry, ironing and some cleaning. The ground floor level is all open plan and easy to care for. Wardrobe care and organisation would be most welcome.
The family have a very light, fresh and healthy approach to eating at home, they do entertain occasionally but all food must be prepared from fresh ingredients, to include fresh soups, lovely salads, lots of fish and marinated meats. The children love fresh pasta and sauces too. The cooking is important but does not require a chef, more a hobby cook who enjoys following new recipes and trying new dishes.
The housekeeper will need to provision for fresh ingredients on a daily basis, but the bulk shopping is ordered on line and delivered, the local butcher provides excellent fresh meats. It is essential that you can travel for seven weeks during the summer months as the family have a home in the South of France and you will go with them purely to cook.
Occasional babysitting will be required and ideally the odd proxy parenting to allow mum and dad a weekend away.
Good quality, light accommodation is provided, comprising of single bedroom and bathroom. Food provided. If preferred the housekeeper could live in on working days but return home when off duty.

The property is the main home of a mature couple with adult children, but they do have other residences and travel frequently. The house is seven bedrooms, with indoor swimming pool complex, gym and games room.
The house managers must be very hands on, and are required to run and manage the household on a day-to-day basis, liaise with the personal assistant and work along side the 2 full time gardening staff.
The house is beautifully kept and although large is easy to care for between them the couple should be able to undertake general housekeeping, including laundry, cooking is important and although primarily cooking for daily family meals and occasional lunch or dinner parties, the owners enjoy good fresh quality food, simple but very well cooked. There is a lot of garden produce and hence the cook should be able to use fruits and vegetables to make preserves, jams and chutneys. The housekeeper will be responsible for household provisioning and shopping.
The Estate Manager will be required to drive the employers on occasion to functions and airports, care for the cars and fleet management. Ideally he should also have good handyman / DIY skills and be able to co ordinate all outside contractors and trades people. Cellar management, overseeing the boiler room and services- will all be the responsibility of the Estate Manager.
There are two dogs, which the couple will care for when the owners are absent.

The estate comprises a large main house together with three guest cottages standing in grounds of 37 acres. The property is furnished to high standards and contains many antiques and works of art. Although the property is, in the main, home to a mature couple, their family and friends visit often increasing the household for varying periods of time. Current staff includes an estate manager, head butler, assistant housekeeper, houseman (temporary) and gardeners. This is a self described ‘happy’ household and they seek a couple who will fit in with this disposition, staff, and family.
One member of the couple must have experience in the organisation of a large home or high class hotel and be able to bring good personal standards to the role including laundry, ironing and general care of fine clothing. They should also be able to produce good, healthy family meals from the many fresh ingredients available on the island. A temporary chef can be brought in for dinner parties if required.
The other member of the couple will need to handle daily caretaking maintenance though the family do have the backup of all specialist trades for heavier jobs.
Both members of the couple must have full clean driving licenses as chauffeuring and errand running may be required from time to time. The family also has 2 young Labradors and the couple will be expected to play their part in their daily care, particularly while the owners are away.

This is an informal family home, there will be some entertaining in the future, but mostly all will be on an informal or semi formal basis.
Daily assistance will be available for general housekeeping duties, but the couple should ideally be able to cover all indoor tasks between them. General duties will be running of the household, cleaning, laundry, cooking preferably to dinner party standard, serving and minor household maintenance.
There are four gardeners employed so there is no gardening requirement, but one of the couple should be able to care for the swimming pool, keep the fleet of cars (including a Bentley) clean and well maintained. There will be some driving duties mostly local but occasionally an airport run.

Mum is a very hands on mum but would be keen for the housekeeper to be willing to help with some minor childcare duties. Previous experience working with children is essential, as there will be occasions when you will be asked to have sole charge of one of the children whilst mum is out. Occasional babysitting, school runs and running errands will also be part of the role.
The property is newly purchased and will initially be used at weekends, but a small renovation programme is planned, which when complete will then become the families’ permanent residence. The couple will be required to oversee the builders, manage security and be the point of contact for external contractors during the refurbishment programme.
The housekeeper will have good cleaning and laundry skills and be able to prepare simple fresh family meals, but not every day. There is an established vegetable garden and fruit trees so the ability to make jams and preserves would be perfect.
The grounds extend to 9 acres, six of which are paddocks and pasture, let to a local farmer for sheep grazing. The remainder 3 acres are more formal, with a Victorian greenhouse, vegetable garden and an orchard. A keen and good maintenance gardener is required, but not necessarily a horticulturist. There is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court to maintain too. At least one of the couple must drive and own car for pleasure use is preferable.
