Essential Requirements: Previous formal private house experience, excellent housekeeping skills, knowledgeable in regards products and care of fine fabrics and furniture. good administrative skills, strong communication skills, fluent English written and spoken. Personable, flexible, well presented, and discreet. Driver with own car essential. Strictly Non-Smoker and dog friendly.

Large, immaculate Country residence requires an experienced Housekeeper to work with the housekeeping team, leading, supervising in a totally hands on manner to deliver a high level of service for a VIP private family living in Gloucestershire. You will have prior experience working with ultra-high net worth clients in a private setting, with excellent knowledge of how to maintain difficult to clean fabrics, antiques, silverware and other surfaces and fabrics with fine finishes.

This is a “hands on”  housekeeper role, which will include all day-to-day hands-on housekeeping duties, whilst running and maintaining the house to the highest standards.

Responsible for exceptional laundry care, wardrobe management and arranging dry cleaning, you will be very confident in your laundry capabilities, to include care of delicate and couture items, stain removal and the care of specialist fabrics.

 A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, you will be responsible for ordering cleaning products, inventory management and assisting the House Manager and Ladies Maid with rotas etc as and when necessary.

Duties will also include but not limited to:

• Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, hoovering, mopping, making and changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen. 
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics 
• Care of high-end furniture and artwork
• Packing and unpacking for the principals to the highest standard
• Training and guiding other housekeepers.
• Managing stocks of cleaning products; placing orders online 
• Assisting the House Manager and Ladies Maid with administrative tasks
• Flower arranging
• Pet care
• Ad-hoc running of errands.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a firm but fair leader with a calm, approachable and pleasant nature. Fluent in English spoken and written with the highest attention to detail.

Salary circa £50,000 Gross. Negotiable depending on experience.

Rota working 5 days out of 7 includes some weekends with 2 days off.

Non-smoker, driver with UK licence and own car essential.  Separate One bedroom Accommodation provided. Pension and private health insurance. Uniformed position. ASAP start.
