Wednesday to Sunday 8am to 4pm
Friendly domestic couple is required for a family house and grounds in Framfield, East Sussex. The 5-bedroom, grade II listed property is the weekend home of a professional couple and their very friendly small dog.
The Housekeeper will primarily be responsible for the day to day cleaning of the 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home, laundry, preparing the home for guests, shopping and caring for the dog during the week. Ideally the housekeeper will be able to prepare ingredients, cook and help at meal times.
The Gardener will be responsible for the day to day grounds maintenance of the property, which will include gardening, mowing, hedge trimming, greenhouse, and vegetable garden and looking after the chickens. Other duties will include general property maintenance, swimming pool,car cleaning and care of the vehicles, ad hoc driving duties and generally assisting the housekeeper. Part of the house is being extended starting next autumn, so co-ordinating with contractors will be an important role.
This role needs a self-motivated couple who are used to working together in domestic service and able to work without constant supervision.
Accommodation is currently a one bedroom flat attached to the house. A new separate one bedroom flat is being built in Spring 2021.This can either be furnished or unfurnished. All bills included.
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday 8-4pm with two full days off, some flexibility will be required. At least one driver needed for driving duties.
Salary circa £45-50,000 Gross per annum. Well behaved pet welcome. (CC3482B)
