- PART TIME DOMESTIC COUPLE
HOUSEKEEPER – 15HRS PER WEEK
GARDENER-HANDYPERSON – 25HRS PER WEEK
Location – Shrewsbury Shropshire
Essential Requirements – Previous experience in a domestic setting. Dog lover. Non Smoker. Good cleaning and laundry skills. Keen hobby gardener with good maintenance and DIY Skills.
An energetic, friendly and experienced part-time gardener and housekeeper required for a country house with extensive outbuildings and two acres of landscaped gardens in rural Shropshire. This job opportunity would suit a couple with no dependent children who would like to live and work in a delightful part of the Shropshire countryside. The principals are a mature retired couple who travel at times during the year during which house sitting and security will be required. Dog walking is also part of the role. The current couple of 3 years will shortly retire.
HOUSEKEEPER:
Experience of housekeeping, cleaning, ironing and polishing. Occasionally, assisting with washing up and clearing away if entertaining and helping with functions at the house. Occasional babysitting of grandchildren.
GARDENER:
Garden maintenance, knowledge of flowers and borders, planting, weeding, pruning, mowing large area of lawn, treating and feeding flowerbeds. Some tractor driving for paddock maintenance and chain saw work will be required.
JOINT SALARY CIRCA £25,000 GROSS PER ANNUM –with use of large one bedroom self contained, fully furnished flat, all utilities paid. You should be fluent in English, have a clean driving licence with own car essential. Well behaved Pet welcome.
