- DOMESTIC COUPLENR CHELTENHAMHousekeeper - Cook- Property Maintenance- Asst Gardener-Driver-SecurityApprox 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility.Essential Requirements: Experienced domestic couple with attention to detail. Good standard of home cooking, confident in the kitchen. Dog & Cat lovers. Both to drive.Team players. Caretakers of the property during the owner’s absence. Flexible to cover weekends for planned entertaining.An experienced, proactive and self-sufficient domestic couple are required to manage and care for a well maintained, 11-bedroom country manor house in a rural village location close to Cheltenham.The principals are a mature couple with adult children who visit on a regular basis. This is a family home but the principals do travel and also spend time in London.Duties and experience required:Housekeeping – including cleaning, care of Antiques, silver etc. Additional Housekeeping support is available.Laundry - Washing and ironing. Packing and unpacking.Cooking – Fresh home cooking using good quality ingredients. (Chef employed for dinner parties and events).Shopping, errands to include post office, dry cleaning etc.Assistance with EntertainingAnimal Care – as and when required -3 dogs 3 cats.Assistant in garden and grounds maintenance – Head gardener and team employed, general assistance with garden maintenance.Property Maintenance – General DIY indoor and outdoor, care of machinery and organisation of any specialist contractors as required.Security and caretaking of the property in the owner’s absence.Care of the vehicles, occasional driving to include airport runs, organisation of servicing/MOT etc. A chauffeur is also employed.Primarily a Monday to Friday position, however there will be occasions when weekend working will be required, pre-planned and in advance. The family are usually in residence over Christmas, and you will be required to be available to work.
Salary Negotiable depending on previous experience. Self-contained 2 bedroom small house in the village with small garden. One dog acceptable but sorry no dependent children. BOTH must drive. (CC4049)
