DAILY HOUSEKEEPER-FAMILY COOK

9-5 Monday to Friday

Essential Requirements   Previous experience as a housekeeper in a large family home.

Organised, friendly, proactive with an eye for detail. Confident in the kitchen. Trustworthy, reliable, discreet with good communication skills and fluent English. Must love 3 friendly large dogs. Driver with own car essential. Team player.

Job Summary:  The principle with his three dogs and adult children is looking for an experienced professional friendly dedicated housekeeper. The home is a large 5-bedroom home with outdoor pool. The three dogs are very much part of the family and dog sitting would be required on occasion where you would need to stay at the home which would be compensated extra.

Due to the location a driver is essential, the family also employ a full-time Estate manager and a Gardener. In addition, there are also weekly cleaners twice a week to take care of the deep cleaning. The ideal hours would be 9-5 but the principle is happy to discuss some flexibility to find the right person.

General duties:

• House management to include the daily housekeeping function of the home, to include day to day cleaning, tidying -laundry and ironing.
• Fresh healthy cooking for the principle and sons as needed – light lunches and dinners (batch cooking for the freezer, dinners that can be reheated)
• Shopping and local errands as needed, keeping the fridge stocked.
• Dog sitting when required for additional pay.
• General organisation – seasonal rotation - decorations etc
• Making the beds, changing linens as required
• Wardrobe management.
• Out house/gym management
• Packing and unpacking suitcases – the principal travels making sure he has what he needs.
• Taking in deliveries, answering the phone/door.

Salary £40,000 Gross per annum. Excellent checkable references required. Enhanced DBS Check will be required for this position. 2 days off per week. ASAP Start (CC4156)
