Domestic couple
Housekeeper-Cook-Driver- Maintenance-Security.
Newly created position for an experienced domestic couple to run and manage this immaculate large country residence for a family of 5 which includes 3 school age children.
This is the primary family home of a young couple who will move in beginning December 2020. The property stands in a total of approx 400acres. Main gardening duties will be outsourced and additional housekeeping/ childcare assistance will be employed to compliment the skills of the successful couple.
Main duties for the housekeeper will be an excellent standard of day to day housekeeping, which will include washing and ironing, cleaning, organisation of contractors, deliveries etc. Fresh healthy family cooking, shared with madam as she likes to cook, shopping, household provisioning and possibly assisting with childcare when needed.
Partner will be responsible for driving, care of the cars and general maintenance of the property. You will be required to assist with school, airport and station pickups, there will be some late evening driving if the principals are out for dinner, time off in lieu will be given.
Care of the grounds and gardens will be outsourced, but a helping hand with garden maintenance as time allows would be welcome.
The family have a pony and a dog, so animal lovers are essential and anyone with basic equine skills/knowledge much appreciated. You will be required to wear a simple uniform of polo shirt and chinos.
SALARY CIRCA £55,000 Gross per annum, 1 bedroom flat ( 500 sq ft) all new and beautiful over the garages separate to the main house. 2 days off per week, flexible for some weekends. Both must drive with use of a car. Well behaved small dog considered. Strictly Non Smokers and excellent references required. (HU3603)
