DAILY - EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER -LIGHT COOK
Our Client, who has a large high-end residence near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Daily flexible, experienced Housekeeper who is capable of light cooking duties. This is a new position and includes weekend working over a 5-day working week. Daily working hours will vary, approx. 8 hrs per day, usually 11-8pm if the family are in residence and 8-5pm if not. Therefore essential that you can be flexible in regards daily hours.
This is a large country house within its own estate and within easy access to London. You may occasionally be asked to travel to the London residence to assist the Housekeeper of 20 years.
Candidate must be willing to undertake all housekeeping duties including hands on cleaning and housekeeping on a daily basis.
Required:
- A good team spirit and you must be willing to be flexible with your duties
- Background in private households/yachts to understand the need for discretion and flexibility
- Looking for a long-term position
- Someone who will maintain the general tidiness of the home, with great attention to detail.
Experienced with fine fabrics and special finishes.
- Dog friendly
- DBS - Enhanced DBS will be required
- Happy to wear a simple black and white uniform
Main duties:
- Daily housekeeping/cleaning.
Setting the table and assisting with service.
- Preparing light meals on the chefs days off for the family, fresh healthy, fish, salads etc.
- Laundry/ironing
- Work in London residence a few days every month (work car provided)
Due to the location, you do need to drive and have your own car. Previous private house experience essential, as well as longevity in previous roles.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. 2 days off per week. (CC3220A)
