Essential Criteria – Hands on top level, high end cleaning and laundry. Good fresh simple family cooking. Child friendly Dog and Cat lovers. Team players.
An enthusiastic, flexible and energetic couple are required to assist in managing a modern 5 bedroom property near Regents Park for a busy couple with one child aged 2 yrs. Nannies are employed, so no childcare duties. The family have 2 small dogs and 2 short haired cats, so essential you are animal friendly and capable to care for the pets if the family are away.
Part of the couple will need to be an excellent driver within London. You will be responsible for running family errands and keeping the cars in immaculate condition at all times. There may be occasional driving to other UK cities and evening driving too by arrangement.
Other duties will include- Hands on cleaning to very high standards, ECO friendly with great attention to detail.
- Experience with special finishes, limestone, marble, wooden floors and granite
- Family laundry to include handwashing of delicate fabrics.
- Daily preparation of simple family breakfast to include table laying, preparation of fresh fruit, porridge, toast and eggs. Simple light lunch if required, soups, salads and preparation of light evening meal when requested.
- House and facilities management.
- Security and alarms
- Organizing repairs and maintenance
- Liaising with tradesmen and builders for house maintenance
- Basic house accounting and administration – Purchasing fresh food and supplies
Candidates must be personable and presentable at all times, be flexible and willing to work alongside the couple in running of the home.
The working day is generally 8am – 6 pm Mon – Fri and 10-2 on Sundays. Saturdays and Sunday afternoon are time off, with an agreed one full weekend per month.
This live-in position comes with a self contained (entrance within family home but not main door) 1 bedroom flat, fully furnished and an excellent salary for the right couple. Strictly Non Smokers. Enhanced DBS Checks will be required. (CC2187)
