DOMESTIC COUPLE
HOUSEKEEPER – GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE PERSON-SECURITY
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Essential Requirements – One of the couple must drive. Non Smokers. Previous experience working in a private household. True dog lovers and a positive attitude.
Pro active, country loving domestic couple is required for a recently refurbished country residence in Rural South Oxfordshire. The property is the permanent home of a down to earth couple and their very friendly dogs.
Housekeeper – Full or Part time hours.
The Housekeeper will primarily be responsible for the day to day housekeeping of the property to include cleaning, washing and ironing and generally keeping and maintaining the interior to a high standard. The role can be either full or part time, but if full time, additional duties of assisting in the garden, helping to care for the dogs etc would be required.
Grounds/Maintenance/Gardener – Full Time
Partner will be responsible for the day to day grounds maintenance of the property, which will include gardening, mowing, hedge trimming, greenhouse and vegetable garden assistance. Other duties will include general property maintenance, overseeing contractors, car cleaning and care of the vehicles. You will be required to walk the dogs daily too.
The principals do travel on a regular basis so essential that you are both dog lovers and are willing to take care of the dogs when the owners are absent. You will also be responsible for the security of the estate.
This is a long term role, suitable for a very hands on, self motivated couple who are used to working together in domestic service – you must be confident in your ability to provide high standards of work without supervision.
Accommodation and Salary
A lovely 2 bedroom cottage with be provided. Primarily Monday to Friday with weekends off, some flexibility will be required to cover the owner’s absence, planned in advance.
Full Time Salary circa £55,000 Gross per annum depending on experience.
