EXPERIENCED DOMESTIC COUPLE
HOUSEKEEPER – GARDENER-HANDYPERSON
8am to 6pm Mon-Fri – occas 3hrs Sat am by negotiation.
Essential Requirements – Minimum 5 yrs experience in similar positions. Dog lover, willingness to have sole care of small dog during owners absence. Driving licence. Sole housekeeper with exacting attention to detail. Non Smokers.
An experienced domestic Couple is required to look after a busy and immaculate family household in Wilmslow Cheshire. The home is a large 7 bed detached property set in 5.5 acres. The role is very hands on, each party is responsible for their own areas. Current couple of 6 yrs are returning to their homeland.
Duties for the Gardener/Handyperson- Maintenance of grounds, gardens, lawns, borders, and woodland - Cutting grass and maintaining formal lawns - strimming and edging the lawns and boarders
- Planting, trimming, weeding, strimming and cutting - Checking health of plants, deal with pests and diseases in an organic way
- Ensuring there is sufficient security/protection at the property at all times, day or night
- Using garden equipment and machinery and maintaining them
- Pest control
- Knowledge of electrics to do basic tasks - Undertaking preventative maintenance and general household maintenance tasks
- Water plants
- Maintain perimeter and boundaries
- Servicing and maintenance of swimming pool
- Chauffeuring and valeting of all vehicles on a weekly basis
- Keep outside of residence immaculate through washing walkways /leaf removal and cleaning of fixtures and fittings
- Two 30 minute dog walks daily, feeding, washing and grooming and dog sitting
- Daily housekeeping and seasonal deep cleaning
- Proven experience is essential, an eye for detail, although not a formal home, the family do require a focus on detail
- Laundry, washing & pressing, caring for couture clothing
- Log any garments which go to the dry cleaners
- Making beds, cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, vacuum and dust daily
- Assisting with packing and unpacking - Wardrobe management
- Keep utility stocked with products required for house maintenance
- Arrange flowers
- Care for silverware and fine furnishings
- Occasional light lunch for 2 adults when requested.
Accommodation - A detached One bed chalet, comprising of an open plan kitchen/lounge with separate bathroom. Located within the grounds, in a secluded area away from the main property -with small garden & patio. Sorry no pets or children ASAP Start ( CC3914)
