Essential Requirements: Reliable self-motivated, proactive couple, who take pride in maintaining a lovely home, with previous experience of working in a private family home.
Confident family cook. Driver(s) with own car essential. Dog and child friendly.

Family of Five which includes 3 school age children and their dog require a flexible, friendly couple who are pro-active and forward-thinking with previous experience of working in a family home. This is a long-term position and involves the overall care and smooth running of the property both inside and out.
The property is in a rural location and is a family home, used mainly at weekends, Friday pm to Sunday pm and during some school holidays. There is an indoor swimming pool.

Duties will be day to day housekeeping, preparation of fresh healthy family meals from breakfast, fruits, eggs etc to small family gatherings with lots of fresh healthy salads, fish, and grilled meat, mainly based on Mediterranean style dishes. A confident cook to follow recipes and the ordering of groceries and household supplies along with fresh provisioning as required.
You will need to have good laundry skills to include handwashing of cashmere, care of the wardrobes, dealing with dry cleaning and running errands.

Partner will be responsible for property and garden maintenance – pool care and general household maintenance.
The grounds are mainly laid to lawn, with hedges, trees, driveways and terraces that all need to be maintained. There are informal flower beds, so weeding, lawn mowing (ride on mower provided), leaf blowing and strimming are all part of the role.
You may be asked to care for the cars, refuel, and keep them clean and fuelled.
You should be dog friendly too.

The property is often unoccupied, so important that the couple are happy working independently, who work well together, who are organised, communicative and take pride in ensuring the home is always beautifully maintained and ready to welcome the family or guests at any time.

Salary Negotiable depending on previous experience.
Accommodation – 2-bedroom cottage on the property.
Days off – 2 days per week – mid week, usually Tuesday and Wednesday.
Small well-behaved dog considered, no dependants, non-smokers and ideally both to drive with own car. FLUENT ENGLISH ESSENTIAL. (CC4391)
