Essential Requirements: Previous private house, boutique hotel or yacht experience, immaculate presentation, strong team players, drivers essential. A hands-on position with no managerial requirements. Occasional travel to another property may be required.

Country estate requires an experienced Domestic Couple to work alongside a fully established team in a glorious formal home in Gloucestershire. This position will suit candidates with previous private house /private yacht/ 5* hotel experience who can consistently deliver a high level of service. Training will be available for less experienced couples

Candidates must be immaculately presented, hard-working and self-starters.

Housekeeper/Laundress

You will be required to work with other long-term housekeeping staff, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards, and undertaking all housekeeping duties including cleaning, washing, and ironing, opening up the house in the morning, answering telephone calls and turning down of beds in the evening and assisting the lady of the house when she is in residence.

Strong attention to detail and positive approach to work are essential.

In addition, you need to be dog friendly as occasionally you may be asked to walk the dogs around this very beautiful estate.

Butler

Duties and responsibilities include setting table & serving at meals, being able to clean silver, answer the telephone, and take detailed messages, greet guests and/or visitors etc.  You should have excellent valet skills with the ability to manage the gentleman’s wardrobe, including packing and unpacking, polishing shoes, etc. 

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with housekeepers, chefs and security and be able to report daily activities to the Head Butler and Household Manager.  Flexibility is essential. Good administrative and computer skills required.  The family is well known for their fabulous entertaining and you will assist at special events, shoot season, including serving and helping in co-coordinating activities for special events.  Also, must be able to ensure that all silver, China, linens, and crystal items are clean and ready for events. 

Full-time long term with two days off per week. Daily working hours will vary but will generally be 8am-5pm or 12pm-9pm depending on the principal’s needs, so flexibility is essential.

Accommodation provided- Drivers essential.

Salary circa £90,000 Gross but based on experience. ASAP start. ( CC4300)
