DOMESTIC COUPLE
HOUSEKEEPER – GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE PERSON-SECURITY
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Pro active, country loving domestic couple is required for a recently refurbished, 500 acre country estate in Kent. The 7 bedroom, grade 11 listed property is the permanent home of a down to earth, informal couple and their very friendly dog and 2 cats.
Housekeeper
The Housekeeper will primarily be responsible for the day to day cleaning and deep cleans of the 7 bedroom , 6 bathroom home, laundry, preparing the home for guests, running errands and pet care. Ideally the housekeeper will be able to prepare ingredients, cook occasionally and eventually serve at informal dinner parties.
Grounds/Maintenance
Partner will be responsible for the day to day grounds maintenance of the property, which will include gardening, mowing, hedge trimming, greenhouse and vegetable garden. Other duties will include general property maintenance, overseeing contractors, swimming pool, spa and hot tub maintenance, car cleaning and care of the vehicles, ad hoc driving duties and generally assisting the housekeeper and two additional estate workers when required. You will also be responsible for the security of the estate.
This is a long term role, suitable for a very hands on, self motivated couple who are used to working together in domestic service – you must be confident in your ability to provide high standards of work without supervision.
Accommodation--- A beautiful, large 3 bedroom Oast house within the Estate, next to the main house. This can either be furnished or unfurnished. All bills included. Monday to Friday 8-4pm with weekends off, some flexibility will be required for driving duties. Salary circa £55,000 Gross per annum.
Well behaved pet considered, but sorry no dependant children. Both must drive. ( CC3618)
