DOMESTIC COUPLE
Chef- Housekeeper/Houseman- Security- General Maintenance
A beautiful newly refurbished country house in 23 acres, requires an experienced, well presented, domestic couple to manage the day to day care of this 9-bedroom property to a high standard. The family of four includes 2 teenage children, one at University, one a boarder and 2 small dogs. The role requires a practical, hands on approach and will suit a well organised and efficient couple. Duties are interchangeable, but primarily comprise of daily family cooking, cleaning, and laundry with ad hoc outside duties as and when required.
A full-time gardener will be employed, but a willingness to lend a hand with basic garden duties when required i.e. mowing, watering etc a big plus.
Duties will include:
• Daily preparation and presentation of family breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Hands on detailed housekeeping, to include cleaning, washing, and ironing
• Care of Antique furniture, silver, and fine china.
• Walking the family dogs
• Basic property maintenance & liaison with contractors
• Oversee care of swimming pool and spa areas.
• Alarms and Security in the absence of the owners
Salary £55,000 Gross per annum. Large one bedroom fully furnished, all found flat with own entrance. 2 days off per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) Drivers with own car & Non-Smokers essential. Well behaved dog accepted. (CC3565)
